DescriptionPiano recital: Schumann, Prokofiev & Mozart
The way to create contrasts for Schumann and Prokofiev is different. Schumann`s Kreislerianna is switching between actual conflicting personalities (Eusebious the `wild` and Florestan the `mild`) while Prokofiev`s Sonata no.3 Op.28 and the 2 pieces from his ballet (no.2, 6) are being playful and at times ironic yet reaching extremely lyrical moments. As a closure Mozart’s Sonata in A major K.311 feels like a resolution with its purity and simplicity, in the unique way that Mozart can always do. About the performer Ioanna Moudanioti is a professional classical solo pianist. She has always been fascinated about the emotional depths of music that can touch and transform a human soul. She's giving recitals and concerts in various venues in Belgium, Germany and Greece and had the opportunity to play for many renowned piano masters. Ioanna graduated her Masters' degree in piano performance with distinction ("cum laude") at LUCA school of arts in Leuven (Belgium) from the class of Prof A. Weiss. Her repertoire focusses on the romantic and post romantic era, but she also loves to perform the masterworks of Bach, Schumann and Mozart. Programm
