Renowned for his lyrical mastery of Rebetiko, both on 3-string bouzouki
and voice, Doumouliakas is a living legend of the Athens Rebetiko and
popular music scene. Many of his performances can be cherished online,
where you see him with great names such as Nikos Tatasopoulos, Manolis
Pappos, Anatoli Margiola etc.

Joined by Dimitris Rossidis, an established eastern music singer, guitar
player and teacher in Belgium, and Pericles Makris, a daring improviser
and songwriter with deep love for the popular music tradition ( with his
projects as Dystopian Rebetiko and Nani Trio), this ensemble will guide
us through the rich history of the eastern Mediterranean music,
exploring its evolving styles and eras, with a special focus on the
timeless works of Vasilis Tsitsanis.
