Description

Stephanie Bosch first studied baroque traverse flute. By lucky coincidence she discovered the north Indian flute Bansuri and became a disciple of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, the "living legend" of Bansuri. Fascinated by the sweet sound of the instrument she studied with him in Bombay and Rotterdam and post graduated at the Rotterdam Conservatory under his guidance. Additionally she got a scholarship for exceptional artistic qualities. Stephanie Bosch has performed in Europe, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India.

Intensive occupation with "Ancient Music" on one hand and Indian Classical Music on the other hand embellishes Stephanie Bosch’s music.
Arup Sen Gupta is a disciple of Sri Subhen Chatterjee, an illustrious Tabla player from Kolkata and the seniormost disciple of Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, the world famous Tabla maestro. Arup also gets additional training from Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri- the torch bearer of the Lucknow-Gharana (school of playing). Arup has accompanied many famous musicians in Europe, India and the US and is now one of the most sought after Tabla players in Germany.
