DescriptionEver since Debussy’s "L’Après-Midi d’un faune” premiered in Paris in 1894, and the dreamy flute arabesque that begins the piece was heard for the first time, the flute
has occupied a special place in the heart of many French composers. The flute has embodied many of the French qualities including refinement, clarity and lightness. Debussy’s successors have given flautists a wealth of repertoire, and Wendy and Olga have chosen some of their favourite French compositions for their first appearance together at Art Base Brussels.
