“À la joie.. a recital in celebration!”, is a concert created by 3 portuguese musicians: soprano Marina Pacheco, baritone Tiago Matos, and pianist Pedro Costa to celebrate important dates of distinguished composers. In a musical and poetic journey, this recital remembers and honors the work of Maurice RAVEL, Arthur HONEGGER, Alexander ZEMLINSKY, Erich Wolfgang KORNGOLD, António FRAGOSO and George GERSHWIN. 2017 marks important anniversaries of these composers birth and death dates, and we hope this program takes you on a journey through their contrasting and individual styles.
