Serenade ensemble is consisted by Duygu Alkan(voice), Vanessa Kourtesi(voice), Andrianna Petala(ney), Dimitra Metzaki(ud) and Nick Avgoustidis(ud).

 

They all met in Codarts university in Rotterdam, and their passion for music and culture of the Aegean, brew the idea of making this ensemble happen. Serenade ensemble is experimenting with the music colours of the Aegean sea, diving in both of its sides. Turkish and Greek culture share songs, dances, emotions and images. Each one of the musician brings unique color and touch to the sound the ensemble has. Serenade ensemble attempts to bring all these elements on stage, sharing the common musical background of these countries.
