Vera studied in Barcelona with Alba Ventura and is currently finishing a Master degree in Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with the concert pianist and teacher Boyan Vodenitcharov. In 2018, she performed in the Palau de la Música (Barcelona) together with the saxophonist Miguel Vallés within the competition 'Primer Palau', where they were awarded with the 'Best performance of a catalan work' prize. They have also recorded a CD with four sonatas. Colomar studied in Barcelona with Enrique Bagaría and recently finished a Master degree at the Conservatory of Utrecht, where he followed lessons from Sebastián Colombo and Klára Würtz. His chamber music projects have led him to perform in halls like Het Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) or TivoliVredenburg (Utrecht). Since 2018, Elisabeth Vera and Albert Colomar have been exploring the piano duo repertoire. They started in two-piano form, following lessons from S. Colombo, K. Würtz and T. Dieltjens. After a year, they have begun to delve into the immensity of the quatre mains repertoire under the guidance of the pianist Inge Spinette at Koninklijk Conservatorium, Brussels. This selection of masterpieces, a combination of classics, offers the listener the opportunity to appreciate a wide range of musical possibilities within the 4-hands texture: in style, in structure and in character. Each one of them, a different treatment and approach to the ensemble, generating a singular sonority. EventList powered by schlu.net |
