A message from the musicians: "This special performance of Classical Persian music is entitled, 'Clouds come towards you'. It is a tribute to the people of Iran, as a symbol of our heartfelt compassion and anguish in these turbulent times." Shahab Azinmehr Born in 1985, Tehran, Shahab Azinmehr has a Bachelor's degree in Restoration of Historical Monuments and a Master's in Persian Music Performance. He entered the realm of music through singing, and later began learning to play the tär and setar. Mohammad Musavi, Dariush Talä’i, Mas'ud Sho'âri, Behruz Hemmati and Rezà Parvizzade were some of the masters he studied with. Fariborz Kiani Is a UK-based Iranian percussionist. He studies tombak with Morteza Ayan, one of Iran’s leading tombak maestros and daf frame drum with Iran’s legendary daf maestro Bijan Kamkar. Fariborz has performed extensively with the finest Iranian master musicians around the world.
