Description
| Photography, ink painting, cut-outs, collage and computer montage: all parts of the repertoire which Johann Fournier employs with endless variety. This combination of classical and modern techniques results in imagery both original and timeless in nature. Blending sheer fantasy and pervasive surrealism, Fournier's works are reflections of a rich make-believe universe, with its own pictorial language and symbols inspired by music and literature as well as graphic arts. Each creation is an invitation to plunge into this universe, a seed transplanted into the viewer's own imagination. |
