Rey Cabrera was born on 23 January 1943 in the “montes” surrounding Santiago de Cuba. He grew up with the Ochoa family, the renowned musicians of “Buena Vista Social Club” and left the mountains with Maria and Eliades Ochoa to devote his life to music in Santiago de Cuba. Rey’s living in Belgium now and has formed a new group. They’ll be giving you son, bolero, danzon and much more. Let their warmth and Rey’s peculiar tone of voice take you away!
