Franco Luciani from Buenos Aires is one of the most remarkable and talented musicians of the new generation of Argentine musicians. He plays the harmonica in all its versions but especially the chromatic way. He has become an outstanding interpreter of Argentine music, rural as much as urban (traditional and tango).
At the moment he is part of Isabel De Sebastian’s musical project and he works with the American composer Bob Telson (creator of the Bagdad Café soundtrack), also involved with the unforgettable Tito Puente and Caetano Veloso, among others.
During 2006, he took part of six successful presentations in the Buenos Aires’s Opera Theatre with the legendary musician and composer Leon Gieco in his work “15 years of me”. In these concerts, Luciani participated as Leon Gieco’s special guest in a part specially dedicated to the harmonica.
He issued three records until now, Acuarelas de Bolsillo( Franco Luciani Grupo), Armónica y Tango ( Franco Luciani · Daniel Godfrid) , and Armusa (Franco Luciani Y La Tropa).
