Description

Sergiani is a 4 persons band around Takis Mendis, friends since a long time, who generally perform on small scenes where an experienced public savours their rebetika music. While playing they take much freedom in the introductions, improvisations ( ‘taximi’s’) and singing, which goes with the free, and rather wild character of this music. The band has a classic rebetiko scheme, with two bouzouki’s, a baglamas (mini-bouzouki), and guitar.
