The new generation of 'Oriental' Tango gives us a strong, precise and inspiring music, going up and down from street to conversatory, with spicy accents from the Montevideo suburbs.
Pablo Cámpora (1966) studied classical guitar with several international master guitarists. Ever since he began arranging tangos for classical guitar, he has joined various masters of tango music in concert, for example, Ruben de Lapuente and the Cuarteto Triunfal. During the ninth session of the "Piazzola 93" show, he performed together with Numen Vilariño. Gonzalo Gravina (1964) is a pianist, composer and teacher. Since 1981 he has worked on a regular basis with some of the most successful Uruguayan musicians. His compositions have been recorded on a CD, "Mateo para piano", and include works inspired by Eduardo Mateo, one of the most important and influential representatives of the cult movement "Canto Popular" in Montevideo.
