A+B Piano Duo is an acclaimed multidisciplinary duet consisting of musicians Anna Nagwanshi & Bohuslava Çavuşoğlu. A+B Piano Duo was established in September 2021 in Brussels in the study environment of KCB. Their unique blend of 4 hands/2 piano repertory and work for the voice and piano showcases both technical precision and emotional depth. Coming from the classical backgrounds, Anna's & Bohuslava's interests lay in the discovery of new and rare known music works and composers and putting them nearby the known composers and pieces. Alongside with that, they discover many unusual extended piano techniques. Together, they have performed at many venues in Belgium and in Czech Republic. A+B Piano Duo continues to push the boundaries of piano music, delighting listeners with their artistry, passion and sense of humor. Anna Nagwanshi (1996) is a russian-czech classical pianist. Started playing piano at the age of 6 years. A year later, she started to have also chamber music as a second discipline. Anna made her orchestral debut at the age of 12. She studied at the Prague Conservatory & Jaroslav Jezek Conservatory in Prague. Anna obtained her bachelor's degree at Conservatori Liceu (Barcelona) & Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels. Master's degree she obtained as well at KCB. Anna is a winner of numerous piano competitions and performs internationally. She is active as a soloist, chamber musician and educator. From 2021, Anna is a teacher at the Lazar Music School in Brussels.
Bohuslava Çavuşoğlu (1997) was born into a family of professional musicians. She started playing piano at the age of 5. Later on she started taking also singing lessons. In both disciplines she has been laureate of numerous international competitions. Bohuslava performed on piano with the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra and the Moravia Philharmonic Orchestra. As a singer she has appeared as a soloist with the Brno Philharmonic, with the Moravian Theatre Orchestra Olomouc and also a soloist with the Czech Philharmonic Choir. She has recorded solo piano pieces for the Czech radio, besides that she also participated as a piano and vocal soloist in Brno Double Bass CD recording.
