This fascinating Piano and Violin Duo reflects the musical and cultural
origins of its components Gerardo Jerez Le Cam and Iacob Maciuca.
The Argentinian tango is the spirit and origin for Gerardo Le Cam, and the
traditional music of the Black Sea region for Iacob Maciuca.
As is usual in the compositions by Gerardo Jerez Le Cam, we hear a very
interesting mixture of influences.
Reminiscences of Bartok, Stravinsky, Piazzolla and Gismonti combine well
with danses as milonga, candombe, geampara, and the sounds of the Black
Sea region.
